On Thursday 17th and Saturday 19th February 2022, Norwich came alive for two nights as the city was transformed to a magical wonderland as twenty light installations were installed in the city centre. Unfortunately, Friday’s event date had to be cancelled due to Storm Eunice which saw some of the strongest winds in the UK for many years, causing damage to many structures across the UK, including the O2 arena in Greenwich, London.

Over the two days, people followed the River of Love Procession and cyclists decorated their bikes for the Glow Ride as family and friends explored Norwich, discovering the various art installations created by international and local artists. Shops also lit up their windows and opened late, creating a buzz in the city for its second year, with the last event being held in 2020.

Below is a gallery of just some of the spectacular installations which could be found around the city during the 2-day event.
